Heineken Bumps Up Capacity

Heineken has grown its capacity in Nigeria by nearly a third after buying up five breweries as it continues to make big inroads in one of its most important growth markets. There are huge opportunities on offer in Nigeria where Heineken controls more than 60% of the formal beer industry (it owns Nigerian Breweries) ? worth nearly US$3bn annually by our reckoning. By 2015, we are forecasting this figure to double.
