Dansk Supermarked's Moderate Domestic Sales Growth In Line With Our Danish Consumer Outlook
February 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisDanish supermarket operator Dansk Supermarked has announced an increase in its revenues profits for 2010. During the year the firm, a subsidiary of Danish conglomerate A.P. Moller-Maersk, registered a 2.3% rise in sales on a constant-currency basis and a 3.5% increase in sales on a reported basis, with revenues reaching DKK59.3 (USD1.5bn). The company announced that it recorded growth in all its markets, while sales in Denmark came in 1.4% higher. Dansk's net profits advanced by 4.1% to reach DKK2.2bn.
