Thai alcoholic drinks producer ThaiBev has posted a 12.4% increase in revenues for its latest financial year after a strong showing in Thailand and overseas markets of China, US and South East Asia. The company's profit growth, on the other hand, paled considerably in comparison, with operating pressures in the beer and spirits sectors affecting earnings. With operational fees and commodity costs rising rapidly in recent months, 2011 could serve up some challenges, despite our expectations of continued strength in its sales growth this year.
