Despite the fact that the Philippines once again finishes towards the bottom in Business Monitor International's third quarter Business Environment Rankings, it is actually a fairly attractive market for companies that are patient enough for delayed gratification. The country's low ranking is more a reflection of the tremendous potential of neighbouring markets, which somewhat mask the fact that the Philippines is actually quite an attractive candidate for long-term investment, as evidenced by its high marks for market entry potential.
