The chief executive of Wal-Mart in the US, Eduardo Castro-Wright, reiterated that the retailer will remodel its stores in the US over the next 18 to 24 months, to give them a more customised mix of goods and layout for key groups of customers, including Hispanics, African-Americans and affluent shoppers. The stores will get a more specific mix of products and layout to appeal to one of six target groups - based on what market research has shown is the 'best approach' for that
