Japan, one of the world's most profitable beer markets, has registered a significant slide in beer sales, as brewers reported that poor weather has had a detrimental effect on sales. Between July and September, a period which usually witnesses high demand, domestic beer shipments registered their lowest levels since comparable figures became available in 1992.
