The conclusion of Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the US and South Korea has delighted US dairy exporters, while hinting at tougher times ahead for South Korean dairy operators. With South Korea having agreed to the provision of improved trading terms and greater market opportunities for US dairy producers, the competitiveness of the local sector is going to become a major focus.
