Kuwait's Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) has been in talks with the International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of agricultural research. According to PAAAFR's Director Jassim Al-Bader, the main topics the MoU will cover is the greening of the Kuwaiti landscape and the establishing of which crops and plants would be most suitable for Kuwait's climate. This meeting is taking place in Aleppo, Syria. Al-Bader is also meeting the Syrian Minister of Agriculture to discuss bilateral agricultural affairs.
