Nigeria's Jos International Breweries PLC, the producer of Rock and Class lager beer as well as the Malt Royale drink, has recently announced its plans to raise its annual turnover and has signed a memorandum of understanding with foreign investors in order to do so. According to Managing Director and Chief Executive Albert Twamsen Kattiems, Jos has invested in a major refurbishment of its production plants, with the aim of modernising its operations in line with global best practices. Last year Jos Breweries was involved in a number of corruption allegations, and had to temporarily shut down its production facilities
