Singapore's Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) has released the first shipment of beer from its new Mongolian brewing facility, marking the brewer's first foray into the country as a local producer. With breweries in so-called niche markets, such as Sri Lanka and Laos, due to come on stream in the near future, and with investments for India, China and Vietnam scheduled, APB's objective of becoming a leading regional player is proceeding well.
