Leading Indonesian instant-noodle maker Indofood Sukses Makmur is to separate its consumer branded food business from its flour milling, agribusiness and distribution units in order to maximise growth opportunities for the division. As well as providing more opportunities for expansion-supportive fund raising, the spin-off should also improve the division's operational efficiency, freeing it from some of the issues that occasionally bog down Indofood's primary processing
