Katjes Fassin To Grow Internationally With Increased Stake In Lamy Lutti

Germany's third largest sugar confectionery manufacturer Katjes Fassin has announced that it has increased its shareholding in French group Lamy Lutti to 34%, making it the single largest shareholder. The move comes six months after the two businesses agreed to form an international strategic alliance - a deal which saw Katjes Fassin take a 10% stake in the French firm. The deal should lead to cost savings and is designed to allow Katjes Fassin to compete with regional market leader Haribo as well as number two August Storck, which have both developed a much larger international
